Gaucho Racing is a student engineering team at UCSB that designs, builds, and races electric formula-style vehicles. The Formula SAE Electric competition brings together student teams from across the globe. It challenges them to push the boundaries of electric mobility through high-performance, sustainable vehicle design.
Their outstanding result this year—nearly 20% improvement over the previous year’s score—hits the best records in the team history. This huge leap in engineering achievement and reflects their innovation, resilience, and technical precision.
